Go Fish! Grand Opening Saturday
The popular Go Fish! program returns this May and you can get involved at the Grand Opening event at Hall Road Pond in Mission Creek Regional Park on May 5. Regional Park Interpreters and volunteers will be on-hand with fishing rods, reels, and bait to help youngsters 16 and under try their luck at fishing.
After the grand opening event, youngsters are invited to bring their fishing rod and attempt to catch up to one fish per day during the month of May, no fishing license required.
For those needing assistance, Park Interpreters will be on-hand Sundays in May from 10am to 3pm with a limited supply of fishing equipment.
